Bumbu is a craft rum that's distilled and bottled in Barbados from sugarcane grown in eight West Indian countries. The rum is aged in bourbon barrels for up to 15 years, which gives it a rich color and vanilla notes. The original recipe was created by West Indian sailors in the 16th and 17th centuries. Bumbu is often enjoyed for its chocolate, banana, vanilla, and fire flavor notes, and can be consumed on its own, with or without ice.
